The Amazfit T-Rex smartwatch is a rugged smartwatch that is currently available to purchase in India. Initially, this military smartwatch was announced at CES in January 2020; later, it debuted in March in India.

But due to the lockdown imposed by the Indian government, the company was forced to delay the launch, but the good news is that it’s available for purchase now. Read on to know more about the Rex features and the watch itself in a comprehensive way.

Amazfit T Rex: Initial Setup

It’s effortless; even an average user can set up the watch. First, you need to download the Zepp app, scan the code, and add your Amazfit T-Rex smartwatch. The app’s user interface has been improved, and changes were made to make smarter navigation.

On the T-Rex band’s display, to see quick actions such as night mode, battery saving mode, torch, find my phone, etc., you’ll need to swipe down. While swiping up lets, you see your activity goals, etc. However, you can also customize the content on the Amazfit T-Rex smartwatch.

When you swipe right, you get access to the notifications, and swiping left opens the app drawer. The best thing about the military smartwatch is that you won’t notice any lags while swiping and using the apps.

Through the app, you can control everything, such as setting up the smartwatch. You can either enable or disable the heart monitoring feature; the app is the gateway for a broader scope of activity.

When it comes to battery life, the company claims that it would last up to 20 days of daily use and 20 hours of constant GPS use. If you prefer using the watch mode, the battery could be stretched up to 66 days.
