As per some reports, WhatsApp will stop working on some Android and ios devices from November 1.

  • The app owned by Facebook keeps updating the software requirements on the regular basis and shares the same on its help centers.
  • From November 1, the app will be compatible with devices that are running on Android OS 4.1 and above, ios 10 and above, or phones that run on KaiOS 2.5.1 or above, which also covers JioPhone and JioPhone 2.

How Can You Check Your Phone?

Android Devices

As per the reports of Metro News, the old versions of Android devices will not support Whatsapp including Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite, Galaxy Trend II, Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy Core, LG phones, ZTE phones, and others.

Backup Your Chats

If you think that you can use these smartphones further with WhatsApp, then you need to make yourself aware of the fact and upgrade your device to continue the use of the app.
